Jon Stout

Jon founded Moving Man, Inc. in his apartment on Manhattan’s lower east side in 1979. It has grown from his living room downtown to its current location with 45,000 square feet of furniture storage space in upper Manhattan near customers and minutes from the highways and bridges leading to all points north, east, west and south.

Jon spent five years as a packer, mover and driver. He holds a NYS CDL Class B license. He has 35 years experience as a moving consultant and is a Certified Moving Consultant through American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA).

Jon graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Philosophy & Literature from the CUNY City College of New York. He earned his MBA from CUNY Baruch College in Administration & Operations.
