Joe grew up around the moving business and is the fourth generation of Flatbush Moving. Flatbush Moving, a family company for over 90 years, is embedded in Joe’s DNA. Since he was in high school, he would spend his summers working for Flatbush and learning the trade.

For the past three years, Joe has played a pivotal role in the success of the Flatbush Moving team. He started in operations, handling day-to-day moving and storage work; a good amount of manual labor.

Next, he became an integral part of the sales force at Flatbush Moving. Starting slow, Joe would do surveys at people’s homes and pass the information over to the sales staff. After gaining more and more experience, he began to sell the moves himself! Since 2012, Flatbush Moving’s sales have grown exponentially. An example of their growth is in 2014, long distance sales have increased by 53% from the year before. Having been the only addition to the sales staff in 20 years, it’s clear he played a huge role in accomplishing this goal.

Today, Joe is working hand in hand with the President of Flatbush Moving to help integrate it’s business model into the modern era. He is still in charge of local and long distance household moving sales, expanding into commercial moving sales and shoring up the marketing department to leave no stone unturned.

Joe is a Certified Moving Consultant through American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA). Flatbush Moving earned the Wheaton Total Commitment Award in 2014.

Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in English Studies from St. John’s University in 2011.

Born and raised in Queens, N.Y. – he is a true New Yorker. Joe is a huge New York sports fan of the Mets, Jets, Knicks and his alma mater St. John’s Men’s basketball (he knows he’s a suffering fan).

When he can, Joe likes to travel. His goal is visit every U.S. State, having been to 24/50- he’s halfway there. In the busy summer season, since he can’t go too far from the business, Joe enjoys weekend visits to the North Fork Wine Trail on the most northern tip of Long Island.
