NEW AGENT ANNOUNCEMENT
Jim Potter & Sons, Inc., recently joined Wheaton World Wide Moving’s agency network as an interstate agent. Previously an agent for National Van Lines, the Muscle Shoals moving and storage company joins more than 350 Wheaton agents across the country.

Owner James Potter, Jr. represents the second generation of his family in the company, since his parents founded the moving service and he took over in 1984. The Potter family’s third generation is also involved in the business, with two of James Potter, Sr.’s grandchildren driving for Jim Potter & Sons, Inc.

“We have moved a baby grand piano used by Aretha Franklin to record her 1967 hit “I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)” around the Shoals ten different times,” James Potter, Jr. said. “Back in 2017, we helped move and pack items out of General Joe Wheler’s house so it could have renovations done. We then moved the items back in a year later.”
The Jim Potter & Sons, Inc., team gets involved in their community by donating to schools in the area, offering a large discount to all assisted living moves, supporting the local food bank, and moving large items free for St Jude auctions in the area.
